What matters in this category.
01. This section is for qualifying 90% silver coinage. Morgan and Peace dollars stay in their own categories, and 40% silver or ordinary clad coins are excluded.
02. Most U.S. dimes, quarters and half dollars dated 1837–1964 are 90% silver. Later issues vary; verified silver proofs may also qualify.
03. Vintage slabs, better dates and higher-grade type coins may carry collecting premiums beyond their precious-metal content.
