What the words on a Jesse G Coins listing mean—and what they do not mean.
Certified coins
For certified coins, Jesse G Coins identifies the grading service, grade, certification number and holder information when available. The grade shown is the grading service's opinion as represented by the holder or certification record.
Raw coins
Descriptions of raw coins are collector opinions unless a specific independent authentication or grading service is identified. Photographs should be considered part of the condition description.
Vintage holders
Holder generation can be collectible in its own right. Jesse G Coins uses specific holder terminology rather than treating every older slab as the same thing. In particular, the term ANACS soapbox is reserved here for genuine old white ANACS soapbox holders; later blue-generation ANACS holders are not described as soapboxes.
Varieties and attributions
VAMs, doubled dies, overdates, die varieties and other attributions are identified when known. If an attribution is not printed on the holder, a listing should make clear whether it is Jesse's observation or a third-party attribution.
No upgrade promise
No coin is guaranteed to cross, upgrade, sticker, reholder, CAC, or receive the same grade or attribution if submitted elsewhere. Population reports and price guides can also change over time.
